BANANA ALMOND CINNAMON SHAKE
If you are like me, coffee and energy drinks wake me up but soon after I am pheelin' the jitters and then comes the crash. Change it up once in a while and try this delicious shake in the afternoon when your energy is depleted.
Easy to whip it together and the benefits are amazing
4-5 medjool dates, pitted
1 to 2 Scoops Protein Powder (optional)
8 oz. Almond Milk plain or vanilla unsweetened
6 oz. filtered water
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 Tbsp. raw almond butter
1 to 2 bananas
1 cup ice
Place dates and water in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth to create a date paste. Add cinnamon, almond butter, banana, ice and water blend until creamy.
Cinnamon is a known tonic for the digestive system. It als has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, possesses cancer-fighting components and helps stabilize blood sugar. Add it to your daily diet, whenever possible, for your overall health.
